This document explains the importance of creating well-crafted Key Results (KRs) that are meaningful, measurable, and memorable, as well as aligning them with an organization’s strategic goals. It distinguishes between metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), explaining that while all KPIs are metrics, not all metrics are KPIs; KPIs are crucial as they directly track progress towards long-term objectives. To effectively measure success, organizations should limit their focus to a few critical KPIs and ensure they are consistently tracked and communicated to maintain alignment and drive collective accountability.
